Blog (Noun): Same as weblog; online.
Blog (Intransitive Verb): Have weblog: to create or run a weblog.
Blogger (Noun): See blog.
^ So blog is both a noun and a verb eh? Interesting. What does that word think it is anyways? How inappropriate. Greedy word. Can't just settle with being a noun. Has to be a verb too. It's not even a complete word anyways! It's an abbreviated form of "weblog", but it's in the Encarta Dictionary now (Thank you Microsoft Word for making my real, tangible dictionary obsolete). According to Encarta, a blog is like a diary. A big, totally impersonal because you're posting it for random people to read, diary. No thank you. If you think for one second that you're going to discover anything about me that I would put in my diary (if I kept one) by reading my blog, you can just go ahead and click on that nice little X in your upper-right-hand corner right about now.
I think not wanting to referred to as a "blogger" is a good enough reason to not have a blog. Sounds too much like an old arcade game, and I don't enjoy being hit by cars and jumping across random rectangular bodies of water all that much. Yet here I am rambling on my new blog. Aren't you like, so totally excited?!? I secretly (<-- hey look a secret! this is so my real diary now!) hope that no one bothers to read this all the way through because I'm not saying anything. I'm quite good at that. Using a lot of words to say absolutely nothing of any significance at all. I've learned what college essays/reports/papers are for. They aren't to test your knowledge of the subject on which you're being tested. No! They are, in fact, preparing you for the real world! Yes! Telling someone to write a certain number of pages about something that does not, has not, and will not ever matter to them by a certain date with a certain level of intellectual-looking writing is simply getting you ready to deal with stupid pointless requests and demands that will be set upon you in the real world... because, you know, the real world is not what you're living now. Don't be silly.
For the sake of anyone who was bored enough to read this all the way through, I'm going to silence my fingers now and attempt to get some sleep.
